Again, this is up to the local law enforcers to properly address. The current pedestrian crossing is like playing games with death. If we make a footbridge, we must have at least two policemen who are not in anyway corrupt to provide security to the people crossing. I have heard from the people who use footbridges in other parts of Metro Manila is that they would not use the footbridge and instead jaywalk because they have experienced being mugged. If a solution is in store for this problem, i would hope that the solution would be a well-thought of solution and not just a quick-fix.
